DJ Khaled dropped something big. The producer just released his new music video, "Wish Wish" with Grammy Award-winning rap artist Cardi B and 21 Savage.
In the teaser for the video, which was released back in February, Cardi was shown with her hair up in three Bantu knots and eyes swept in cool blue shadows. The inspiration for Cardi B's makeup look was simple, according to her makeup artist Erika La Pearl: "Good vibes and happiness," intensified by Cardi's big Grammy win, she told POPSUGAR. To create it, La Pearl first prepped the skin using three products from Ole Henriksen including the brand's Banana Bright Eye Cream ($38), Balancing Force Oil Control Toner ($26), and C-Rush Brightening Gel Crème ($44). Then for her complexion, La Pearl used Beautyblender Bounce Foundation ($40) in shade 3.75 and Prime Beauty Brownzer in Bronzeville ($21) to enhance her glow.
For Cardi's icy blue lids, La Pearl "mixed Lovesick from the Pinky Rose Cosmetics Exotic Peacock Palette ($25) She finished the look with the 506 Lashes by Flawless Lashes by Loreta ($17).
In the newly released video, you'll also see Cardi with glossy, hot pink eyelids, which La Pearl said is a mix of eye shadow from the Pinky Rose Cosmetics Bright Lights Palette ($25) that was topped with Pat McGrath Labs clear gloss (which is currently unavailable for purchase) for its shiny, wet look.
